The best part of airsoft-PYRO

pyrotechnics are simulated explosives used in airsoft to create realism within the sport. These can contain grenades, flashbangs, smoke and tag/mark grenades. These all have certain roles within the field and its time to show their functions and capability!

these smoke grenades are the most commonly used smoke grenades in the field because they are cheap (costing £2.50-£4.00 each) and are soo easy to use! The black cap on top rips off and leaves a metal ring. The ring needs to be pulled SIDEWAYS which will release a small grey smoke at the bottom. Shake it for 10 seconds to release the colour in the smoke then throw it to create a colourful smoke screen to distract and confuse enemies or to throw to look pretty.

These grenades are vey realistic and very fun to use! They also cost between £3-£4 which is definitely worth the money! The cap on top rips off and strike it with the top of the cap. This lights a fuse which takes 5 seconds to detonate so throw it quick and in 5 seconds, clay shrapnel will explode within a 10 meter radius!!

Thunderflash/flash grenades

This type of explosive is a favourite to any airsoft player on the field. A real flash grenade produces a very load explosion and a very bright flash of light. This stuns the enemy which makes them vulnerable and easier to shoot. The airsoft version does the same however is more suppressed for health and safety issues.
